OUR STORY
1st Generation Dreams
We're Tristan & Sara Gibson -- a husband and wife duo with a simple dream: to build a life that felt a little closer to the land and a little slower and more intentional than the world around us.
Although we're first generation farmers, agriculture has always been woven into our story. Tristan grew up spending time on his grandfather's farm in Mercer County helping grow, cut, and bale hay and learning the value of hard work. Sara spent her childhood summers on her grandad's tobacco farm in Peaks Mill, where long days outdoors and a love for rural life left a lasting impression.
As adults, we found ourselves longing for those experiences again -- not just for ourselves, but also for our children. We wanted them to know where their food comes from, to spend their days outdoors, and to grow up connected to the animals, the land, and the values that farming teaches.
What started with just three piglets, some hand-me-down land, and a vision for something better, has grown into Gibson Farm & Ranch. We're building this farm one step at a time -- learning as we go, celebrating the victories, and embracing the challenges that come with creating something from the ground up.
Building Something Lasting
Today, Gibson Farm & Ranch is a fast-growing regenerative livestock operation focused on pasture-raised heritage pork, farm fresh eggs, and other thoughtfully produced farm goods. We believe animals should be raised with care, given room to express their natural behaviors, and provided a life that reflects the values we hold as farmers. Our goal is to produce wholesome food while improving the land.
As a first-generation farm, we're constantly learning, growing, and expanding. Every fence we build, every pasture we improve, and every animal we raise brings us one step closer to the farm we envision for our family and for our community.
We're grateful to get to share this journey with you and are honored to play a small role in putting high-quality, locally raised food on Kentucky tables.

We believe local farms matter, strong communities matter, and knowing where your food comes from matter. We work hard to produce food we're proud to feed our own family, and we're honored to share it with yours.
